Volleyball Tournaments

In case your tourney info sheets didn't make it home or if Google Calendars aren't your thing, please mark your calendar for the following dates:

Tourney #1: 4/1 Frazee (Team Black) or 4/8 Underwood (Team Blue) or Pelican Rapids (Team Green)*
Tourney #2: 4/15 DGF (all)
Tourney #3: 4/22 Detroit Lakes (all)
Tourney #4: 4/30 LPA (all)
Tourney #5: 5/6 Hawley (all)

*Tourney 1 Breakdown:

• TEAM BLACK (4/1: Frazee) - Brandt, Ekre, Fleming, Gomez, Halvorson, Iverson, Lundquist, Walker, Weber
• TEAM BLUE (4/8: Underwood) - Burnside, Dagenais, Gierke, Larson, Nelson, Rustad, Schmitt, Stahl, Thompson
• TEAM GREEN (4/8: Pelican Rapids) - Ames, Bercier, Bjorndahl, Blakeway, Ebersole, Eilertson, Fletcher, Hastings, Moothart, Smith

If you haven't already sent in your $13 for the tournaments, please bring it to the office as soon as possible. Please note, transportation is not provided to the games. The official end of the regular spring season will be after the Hawley Tourney...we hope to meet after all teams have finished playing to celebrate a great season with a treat! Thank you!

Last 3 BB Events....

TONIGHT

Reminder: tonight is the last home game for the Lady Nuggets! Come cheer them on as they take on EGF. Then, after the game, line up to get a cool photo postcard and get autographs of the varsity players after the varsity game. Make sure to wear your maroon and gold and show your Nugget Pride! JV starts at 6pm, varsity starts at 7:30pm. P.S. in just a few years, it will be our girls giving out the autographs!

SUNDAY

Our last practice (but party too) is this Sunday....please make sure to wear your uniform and have your bb shoes and water bottle, as we will be playing games and scrimmaging! Treats too, of course! And Open Gym still goes through March...

Pacesetter

We mentioned the possibility of a Pacesetter Team at the beginning of the season and do plan to participate in it this spring. We are signed up for the Frazee Tourney on April 16th/17th.

Pacesetter is an optional competitive opportunity at the end of our basketball season. Anyone can participate in our pacesetter team; however, pacesetter is different than our traveling team in that while we are at the regional tournament, everyone will get a chance to play, but it will not be equal playing time (the goal is to win to move on). Also, please note, there are additional costs associated with this program. The registration fee cost $170/team. If you know your daughter is interested in this competitive opportunity, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can determine the cost per player.

We intend to take March off (to give the girls a break and because volleyball season will be starting). Once April hits, we will practice 2-4 times before the tournament.
